Doug P. MountainDog & The Golden Bone
by Richard Krevolin
This book tells the story of a short, chubby little teenage dog and his quest to be a proud owner of a Dogopolis Kennel Club Golden Bone. A Golden Bone assured its owner of a lifetime membership in the club. In his efforts to join the club, Doug unites with six other misfit dogs and they end up changing the rules of the Dogopolis Kennel Club forever. In the process, they teach all the dogs in Dogopolis about tolerance and acceptance.
Richard Krevolin is a poet, professor, writer and owner of 8 rescued dogs, as well as two cats and one crazy rooster. Ado Ceric, the illustrator, does not own any dogs, but hopes to one day.
