About The Author:
J.S. Fletcher was a British journalist and writer. He wrote both fiction and non-fiction. Some of his works are historical fiction, others are on history. He was a fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He wrote over a hundred detective novels, many featuring his charachter Ronald Camberwell, private investigator.
Harrington Strong was the pen name of Johnston McCulley, an American journalist and novelist. He created of the character Zorro. He authored of hundreds of short stories, fifty novels, and many film and television screenplays. He also used the pen names Harrison Strong, Raley Brien, George Drayne, Monica Morton, Rowena Raley, Frederic Phelps, Walter Pierson, and John Mack Stone, and others.
Mary Roberts Rinehart was an American author of mystery novels. According to author and crime criticDorothy B. Hughes, Rinehart "has been and continues to be the most important American woman mystery writer." She is said to have invented the "Had-I-But-Known" style of mystery writing. Some consider her to be "The American Agatha Christie."
