Curious what is going on for young professionals interested in conserving land and water in the Texas Hill Country? Want to get outside and do your part to stay active and engaged on our local environment? Keep Up with the Emerging Professionals in Conservation thanks to the EPIC app!

In 2008, HCC founded the Emerging Professionals in Conservation (EPIC) program which sought to bring land preservation into the forefront of future business and social conversations. Now, over a year after its inception, EPIC has proven to be a huge benefit to both the mission of HCC as well as the EPIC members themselves.

Memberships include participation in regular HCC sponsored information lunches on timely environmental topics and HCC projects, hands-on environmental experience activities, networking events, and volunteer opportunities.

Participation in the experience activities will without a doubt create a new-found respect for the Texas Hill Country and all that it has to offer. Sample activities include:

- Camping at Storm Ranch
- A private bike tour of the Texas Hill Country
- Kayaking in the Barton Creek Greenbelt
- Horseback riding tour of a local ranch
- Grape Stomp and Wine Tasting at a local vineyard
