Earlier he was on the Board of Directors of American Studies Research Centre, Hyderabad. Dr Halan, a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, has held the editor’s position in various newspapers – The Times of India, The Indian Express, Hindustan Times and Observer.??He was Business Advisor to the Duncan Goenka group of industries. He has also authored The Success System, a well-known book published in India and Malaysia.
