The collection of photographs demonstrates what you may find on any given on a street that has come back from the slums. It only fits that this highly enjoyed city street is found in a town that prides itself on it's weirdness.

The trip includes such famous spots as The Continental club where Elvis Presley once played, and many of Austin famous musicians still visit. Mixed within all of the commercial aspect, you will find such beauty as a Dragon Fly, or two people in love.

An American photographer who has a visual attunement for beauty's simplicity sometimes is found in the most unusual places.

Steve Hamilton's unique photo snapped journeys through 49 states and Canada gives him bragging rights of being a modern day Claude Monet with a silver digital eyes.

Talent sometimes surface from the most innocent of activities as his first camera was purchased only to take picture of himself with his dot Rita. But capturing the essence of real life beckoned, and soon his passion for photography found expression in his many photo cards which can be purchased directly from his when he's on South Congress Avenue in Austin.
