Have you ever been at a party, or at a family dinner, and had a debate over how various relatives were related to each other? I sure have, which is why I created Relationship Finder. When it comes to determining who my 2nd cousins, or 1st cousins once removed, or great aunts and uncles are... well, in a family as large as mine this can be tricky business.

Relationship Finder allows you to input any two persons in your family, then specify which grandparent they share, to determine the exact genealogical relationship between them. Cousins and "removed-ness" of cousins is determined by what shared grandparents exist.

This is a great tool for settling family history debates, and for kids to learn more about their family history and how relationships are formed among relatives.

Please be aware that this app only handles blood-relationships, not relationships created by marriage. It also does not consider half-relationships or step-relationships, like a half-cousin or step-aunt.
