About The Authors:
Phyllis Forbes-Dennis was an English writer who wrote under her maiden name, Phyllis Bottome. Several of her novels, e,g. Private Worlds, Danger Signal, and Mortal Storm were made into movies.
Lawrence L. Lynch was an American writer of mystery and detective novels in the late Nineteenth-century.
Maurice LeBlanc was the French equivalent of Arthur Conan Doyle. He created the character Ars?ne Lupin, a gentleman thief and detective. There is speculation that LeBlanc modelled his character on Octave Mirbeau's gentleman thief Arthur Lebeau. Others argue that Lupin was modelled after a real person. LeBlanc was elected to France's Legion of Honor for his literary work.
