About The Author:
Sax Rohmer was the pen name of Arthur Henry Sarsfield Ward, the prolific English novelist. He created the character Dr. Fu Manchu. His book The Mystery of Dr. Fu Manchu was an instant hit. It is the story of Sir Denis Nayland Smith and Dr. Petrie facing the worldwide conspiracy of the 'Yellow Peril'. Rohmer died from avian influenza ("Asian Flu").
Thomas W. Hanshew was an American actor and writer. He wrote more than 150 novels. He created the character Hamilton Cleek, the detective known as "the man of the forty faces" for his skill at disguise.
Joseph Smith Fletcher was an English journalist and novelist. He was a major author during the "Golden Age" of detective fiction. He wrote over a hundred mystery novels, many featuring Ronald Camberwell, private investigator.
