Resurrecting Ghosts?
by C J Bolden

Redemption comes in many ways and many forms. Some times it is handed out by God, other times, it comes to you in small unknown packages. This is a story of one man who was given a second chance in life and now he has a chance to help someone else redeem their life.

But why this one young man? What makes him so important to an elder like Petey. This is where the story begins and ends. A potent story of redemption that speaks to many of today's youth.

About The Author:

C.J. Bolden, an author, poetess, and playwright, singer and actress, was born in Haines City, Florida. Her mother, Lillie resides in Winchester, Tennessee and her father passed away 16 years ago. Her brothers Dave, Bruce, Darrell, Jeffery and Corey are always ready with support. She is married to Glen, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Bolden of Huntsville, Alabama. Together they share four children: William, Kittie, Antoine and Ryan and also ten grandchildren.

Writing began for her with poetry. She loves the movement and the rhythm of poetry, the way the words seem to dance across the pages. Later in life she developed a taste for short stories and skits and became the writer for church programs and she also does personalized poems.

She is a member of “The Uniques,” a drama group founded and directed by Reba McIntyre-Kindred of Houston, Texas. Connie is an exciting actress who has the ability to reach deep inside her self to become whatever character she portrays. “I lose myself on stage and if I convince the audience that I am that person then I really, as they say, break a leg.”

The credit for inspiration goes to life itself. She has faced rocky valleys and some tough hills in life, but believes that God has something for her to do. “For those He has given me so much, He expects much. If I can touch but one person, then my job in life has been done.”

Reviews:

If it is true that charity begins at home and spreads abroad: Come and let’s watch Connie Bolden spread. Connie’s writing takes me back to the era of Mark Twain. For in the later parts of the 1800’s great humorists as Samuel Clemens went into the chambers of their minds, and found everyday occurrences, which they wrote with humor and left us with a new set of mythical heroes such as “Huckleberry Finn”. I am an eyewitness who have been held spell–bound with uplifted spirits from her skits, plays, poems, and solo performances. Therefore, I recommend that you join with me and let’s enjoy Connie Bolden’s book Resurrecting Ghosts.
