30 Seconds

I had been looking for something simple like these ever since I started weight training.

We all know about the 30 seconds rest period one should allow oneself between each sets.

There are many workout programs out there that are really useful in the sense that they also keep track of your set count, calorie intake, workout frequency and what not.

But I just want a simple program that alerts me when my 30 second rest period is over and no more.
That’s all I want it to do, no complications, no extra functions.

I hope you will find this one button program as useful to your weight training workout as it have been for me.

[Of course this program could be useful for anyone that needs to kick start a game upon a signal but this is a miscellaneous by product as a result of what this program does.]

Tip:
You can press the small button at the bottom left to reset the 30 second countdown

6 Animations to simulate the LCARS System on your iPhone.

Set your iPhone auto lock to Never with Maximum Brightness to achieve that high contrast LCARS look.

The animations were created to loop seamlessly to create the impression of continuous processing.

Please note that the ODN Network Animation is rather processor intensive with its layers of lines, flares, real time blurs and 3D calculations so this particular animation will look better in iPhone 4 and above.

There is an Easter egg in the Program that stores more LCARS goodies, hope you'll find it :)

60_Seconds

This is a 30/60 seconds count down app with a separate overall time counter.

It was created to track the 30 to 60 second rest time between workout sets.

Additional double checking was implemented for finger presses, this is because it is common to accidentally press on your phone when you are working out, this implementation will prevent the stop watch that is tracking your overall work out time from resetting on accident.

Binary Maglock

Learn Binary the Fun way!

You will be able to choose between playing with yourself or with your peers to see who will be able to "Unlock" the Maglock Servo first.

Sit around with your friends in a circle and turn up the volume!
It will be unmistakably clear who wins the game first :D

Gesture Calculator

An innovative way of handling calculations via gesture, a new take on the conventional Calculator.

Imagine moving the numbers by hand and see the numbers calculate and change in front of your eyes as you smash those numbers together !

Gesture Based Calculators is something I have in mind for a while now and the popularity of Touch Technology is finally at hand for me to share this simple thought of mine with the world.

I hope you will have as much fun using this alternate calculator as me.

As a matter of fact, I find myself using this calculator for all my basic arithmetic works now.

Please note that this calculator will always round off every calculation to a maximum of 2 decimal places and no more, for example, you will have 9.23 instead of 9.23153542541.

Gesture Calculator Version 2

[ PLEASE do not download this app if you are running iOS 6, I am working on an update, sorry for any inconvenience caused :( I am just a one man show, I need time. Again really sorry. ]

Perform mathematics calculations by bumping numbers together.

Version 2.0.0 is MAJOR version update.
DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU PREFER THE OLD DESIGN!!!
Previous users of this program will find that the interface has been COMPLETELY redesign, hell even the Tag engine itself have been completely rewritten for speed.
You will find the whole program to be sleeker.
With all the motions the program will be generating, you will literally be seeing how numbers interact with each other.
The program will be "talking" to you in a way [via text, not voice] through the top panel, a new feature created for the kids [I will explain it later].

The reason for this drastic change is due to this single reviewer by the name of "Cobalt Chameleon":
"I teach 5th grade deaf students, so we rely heavily on visual learning.
I love this whole concept & I know my incoming students are also going to love it as well.
They're going to latch onto this quickly and have fun doing math. Wish I'd thought of it!"

When I first created this program, it was to further a concept I have in my mind, to create a calculator that visually shows the interaction of numbers.

After I am done with this app, I moved on without a second thought.

But then I saw this one review months later [it was the only review at the time] and it makes me all emotional when I realize that through a teacher, I have benefited a group of deaf students.
It made me cry a little [Yes, I am a man and I cry...] to know that a simple idea from me could help a small group of deaf students.

With the understanding that there will be children using this, I immediately drop all my projects and work on this again; I have to redesign the whole thing for them and I’ve dropped the price to $0.99.

I’ve made it more lively, added more features, made the buttons bigger for them.
When things get complicated, there will be textual explanation so that the kids can understand.
The by product of the bigger buttons also means that it’s now usable on the iPhone, hence, this version is also iPhone compatible!

And if you are the kids reading this, don’t worry about the sound; I have made sure that all you need to know can be read, I am sorry, I didn’t know you couldn’t hear the sound, I am sorry kids.

This is for you kids...and your Teacher Cobalt Chameleon.

I was a teacher before; I feel so much for the kids and the teachers.

And to Cobalt Chameleon, I am not a "company", I am one person, when you wrote this review, you wrote to me.

This is one of the positive things my user says about version 1 of this app:
I don't care how useful this is...but it takes the iPad cool factor to another level.
I downloaded it and use it to wow people who want to get a closer look at the iPad.
My Grandson plays with this thing more than his other toys and I've take advantage of that to teach him math...this has so much potential...I hope the author of this app knows this as well! Looking forward to updates.

Beneath this simplistic LCARS interface is a complete Alarm Clock system.
You can have more than one Alarm settings at any one point in time.

The colors of the LCARS Bar and Text are customizable.
You can also change the text of the LCARS Title Bar to whatever you please.

To make sure you know what you are being "Notified" for, you are allowed to name your Alarm with a Title along with any Extensive Message(s) you would like to go along with your Alarm.
Both the Alarm Title and its attached Message(s) will appear in Red Alert form when the Specified Time has been reached.

LCARS Alarm

The graphics and layout of this application was designed specifically for the iPad.

You can have more than one Alarm settings at any one point in time.

To make sure you know what you are being "Notified" for, you are allowed to name your Alarm with a Title to go along with your Alarm.

Please note that this app only work when it is on, the alarm will not work if the screen is turned off or if the active app currently running on your iPad is another program :)

A Reaction Game Based on the LCARS concept.
Imagine the LCARS Blocks as Memory blobs from an Alien Spaceship trying to crash your LCARS systems by eradicating any free memory your LCARS System might have left.

Choose your LED color and you will get the resistor value to use ! EASY!

You have an LED and a Battery; you just want to know the right resistor to use, not to read a chart or textbook to learn the 101 of electronics.

This is your answer.

We all love those bright blinky LEDs, and we all know we need resistors to make sure they don’t "Explode", ha ha ha

Unfortunately, every time we go to websites to find the answer, we are forced to fill in complicated stuff about the LED that if we know, we wouldn’t be asking...
Not anymore with this app :)

Simple Math has never been this addictive!

Wait till you have a timer beside you that will explode if you take your own sweet time to answer :-)

Better yet, gather with your friends and see who will "explode" first ;-p

P:S Even though you can play this game alone, this Game was intended to be a group game, hence the volume are intentionally loud [once you set to maximum volume], the idea is allow the group to easily identify who is out of the game.

Presidential Notes

Information about the U.S. Presidents in point forms for easy memorization.

Application will be updated consistently as new Presidents are added to the list over the years and/or more information of interest is known about them that would be useful for the average individual.

This application is to allow you to walk around with a sense that you know something about the U.S. presidents; “bloated” information will sometimes be replaced in favor of simpler overarching point data.

Feel free to email me if you feel something of note should be added to any listed president that is of factual nature and not of personal opinion.
