Layers is a natural media painting app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Built on the feedback of hundreds of mobile artists, Layers packs in everything you need to be creative on the go. Whether you're an experienced iPhone artist or a creative user looking to doodle, Layers is for you!

Layers allows you to add up to five layers to each drawing, opening a whole new creative space. You can add a layer from a photo to trace your subject, or use the eraser tool to remove parts of one layer and reveal details of the layer beneath! A full-featured eraser gives you fine grained control over layer transparency, and a smudge tool allows for tons of unique painting styles! Want to add photos to your drawings? Layers allows you to position and scale the photos you add and see how they'll appear on top of your existing work. It comes with three of the ten brushes available in the pro version and limits drawings to two layers. Advanced layer operations such as "Merge Down" and "Reposition Layer" are not available and paintings cannot be emailed as layered Photoshop files. Need to solve a system of equations, simplify a complex polynomial or check your homework? Look no further! Ported from a desktop solution that has been in development since 1986, Mathomatic is the first full-fledged symbolic math solution for the iPhone. More than just a calculator, Mathomatic solves algebraic problems, from simple middle-school homework to complex multivariate systems.

Mathomatic features an attractive, easy-to-use interface. Unlike most iPhone calculators, it displays expressions in 2D. Even the most complex equations are easy to read! The bar above the keyboard scrolls so you can view long expressions. The output pane shows the expressions you've entered and clicking one allows you to jump back to it. Trying to work through a difficult problem? Mathomatic shows steps when solving systems of equations, so it's easy to see what you missed!
