AIB Mobile Banking offers registered AIB Phone & Internet Banking customers, an easy and convenient way to access the most popular AIB Internet Banking services on their smartphone.
AIB Mobile Banking allows you to:
- Check your account balances (branch banking accounts, credit card, home mortgage, AIB Finance & Leasing, ARK Life/Aviva)
- View recent transactions on your account
- Transfer funds between your own accounts
- Transfer funds to third party accounts in the Republic of Ireland*
- Pay your bills*
- View recent payments on your account
- Top Up a mobile phone (Vodafone, O2, Meteor, eMobile)
- View and reuse recent mobile Top Ups
- Find your nearest AIB branch via our Branch Locator
*The beneficiary or bill must already be set up on AIB Internet Banking to transfer funds via AIB Mobile Banking.
To access other AIB Internet Banking features (i.e. International Payments, add a bill, add a payee etc.) you will need to access the full AIB Internet Banking service from your browser.
AIB Mobile Banking is also available to access through your touchscreen smartphone's internet browser at www.aib.ie/mobilebanking
Security
AIB Mobile Banking is a secure, safe and convenient way to manage your money on the go. The service provides the same high level of security as you enjoy on AIB Internet Banking. To access the AIB Mobile Banking service you will be asked to enter your existing 8 digit Registration Number and three random digits of your 5 digit Personal Access Code (PAC)
To ensure you can access your accounts over the Internet with the utmost confidence, we use the highest levels of industry standard security. As part of this security we use 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your information.
AIB Mobile Banking will automatically log you out after 4 minutes of inactivity. You must be actively browsing to stay connected (i.e. switching between accounts).
Note: The AIB Mobile Banking App requires access to your phone's Address book to allow you easily select a contact number for Mobile Top Up. You can do this by pressing the address book icon on the top right of the Mobile Top Up screen.
