Once you find the best data points for your area, save them in your own "wind profile" so you can quickly get the most relevant data when you return to the application. From your profile list you can create wind widgets for your device's desktop so you can watch the wind without even opening that application.
Customized Wind Alerts for any station can be set up either through the application or through www.windalert.com to notify you when conditions are set that you select. Threshold settings include High and Low wind speed, gust vs. average, time of day, number of alerts, etc.
