Newsmew is a news app and a social networking app, but most importantly it's a place where you share and get social news of your city.
Inspired by Digg.com or Reddit.com, Newsmew is a news management app and the main difference is that news in Newsmew are not links from the internet, but interesting and funny news or stuff reported by you with your mobile. Newsmew also don't strictly required you to publish breaking or CNN-liked news. We think that the stuff around us are all worthy enough to be generated into a news article, and they should be shared with others.
Publishing a news on Newsmew is really easy. All you need is your mobile, take a photo, write an Twitter liked headline and describe the news or interesting stuff, then push the news onto Newsmew server.
Once the news is published, share it with everyone in the city and with your friends on Facebook or Twitter. It's certainly a great and fun way to promote yourself to get everyone's attention and this is your BIGGEST bet to be on the news headline.
Remember this is a location-based app, so you should enable location service in your iPhone Settings when using Newsmew.
