Discover a new and pleasant way to enjoy music on your Android phones and tablets wherever an Internet connection is available. DS audio allows you to browse your DiskStation’s music library while playing it in the background, as well as displaying the lyrics of the song being played. You can also control music playback on connected speakers in a simple and convenient way.

With DS audio on Android Phones and Tablets, you can do the following:
-Play music stored on your DiskStation on-the-go
-Browse songs by albums, artists, folders, genres or playlist
-Create playing queues or simply select 100 songs to play randomly
-Listen to your favourite Internet radio
-Control remotely the music streamed from the DiskStation to any connected speakers, media renderers or AirPlay speakers
-Support of dynamic lyrics format (Audio Station 4.0 and onwards)
-Support of Personal library (Audio Station 4.0 and onwards)

DS cam

View live streaming and recordings from IP cameras setup on Synology DiskStation

If you own a Synology DiskStation, DS cam allows you view cameras setup on your DisksStation anywhere network connection is available. You can stream live view in real-time, control camera angles with your touch screen, search and play event recordings. To use DS cam, your DiskStation is required to upgrade to DSM 3.1 and onward.

Features:
- Stream live view and replay events recorded in MJPEG, H.264, MPEG4 format (DSM 3.2 or onward is required).
- Live view multi-channel simultaneously for cameras managed by your Surveillance Station.
- Receive push notifications from your Surveillance Station when an important event happens.
- Take snapshots and utilize PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) function during live-view.
- View and manage saved snapshots.
- Search event by date and time.

DS file

DS file allows you to securely browse folders and files on your DiskStation with your Android device, as well as transfer files between the device and the DiskStation. Manage your files while you are away whenever an Internet connection is available, your Android device literally becomes a digital suitcase. In addition, you can download files to your device and access them locally when there is limited Internet connection, as well as sync files directly to your PC or MAC by enabling Cloud Station feature on DiskStation.

With DS file on Android devices, you can:

-Browse and manage files stored on your DiskStation
-Stream video, audio files and viewer pictures directly
-Save and open documents with reader apps
-Download multiple files to your device for offline access
-Manage files on your DiskStation
-Upload files to your DiskStation from your device
-Sync files with the Cloud Station folder of your PC/MAC (limited to 10MB per file and to the following formats: doc, ppt, xls, docx, pptx, xlsx, odt, ods, odp, epub, mobi, prc, pdf, txt, html, htm). Cloud Station for Mobile devices requires Cloud Station 1.1
-Supports HTTPS for secure connection
-Supported on DiskStations running DSM 3.1 and onwards

DS finder

DS finder helps you to easily monitor the status of your DiskStation on the go, as well as start up the DiskStation remotely. IT professionals can receive important system notifications about their DiskStation instantly, or use it for locating the DiskStation in massive server rooms with the built-in buzzer. If you need to do any troubleshooting, you can email out the DiskStation’s network/storage info directly from the iPhone/iPad.

Features:
-Search all the DiskStations within the local area network
-Monitor the current status of a DiskStation
-Receive system push notification instantly from the “favorite” list of DiskStation (DSM 4.0 is required)
-Locate a DiskStation with its built-in buzzer
-Start up the DiskStation remotely with WOL function (WOL over Internet requires a router supporting this function)
-Email out the DiskStation’s network/storage info directly from your iPhone/iPad
-Supports HTTPS for secure connection

DS photo

DS photo:
If you own a Synology DiskStation, DS photo allows you to easily upload photos to your Photo Station. Please note DS photo can only work with DSM versions between DSM 2.2-0942 and DSM 2.3-1161

For more features, please upgrade to DS photo+:
DS photo+ allows you to easily browse through photos and videos on Photo Station with the thumbnail slider on the go, including interactive with friends through the photo or video comments in real time. You can easily find out the location where the photo is taken, and you can download and store the pictures onto your iPhone/iPod touch and enjoy the flashbacks anytime anywhere. In addition, you can upload photos and videos from your iPhone/iPod touch straight to Photo Station with DS photo+. Before using DS photo+, your DiskStation is required to upgrade to DSM 3.0 and onward.

With DS photo+ for the iPhone/iPod Touch, you can:
-Browse photos and play videos shared on Photo Station with the thumbnail slider
-View photos in slide show mode
-Find out the location where the photo is taken on the Google map if the geo-information is available
-Leave and view comments of photos and videos
-Upload photos and videos to Photo Station
-Download and store the photos from Photo Station to iPhone/iPod touch

DS photo+

DS photo+ allows you to easily browse through the photos and videos of your Photo Station library, on the go, as well as interact with friends using the photo or video comments in real time. When you enter an album, photo collections are presented as a thumbnail wall: simply swipe the screen to move through the list. Take a photo and upload it directly to your Photo Station, or save the pictures onto your Android device to enjoy flashbacks anytime, anywhere.

DS video

*You must own a Synology NAS to run this app. DS video is only available to users having upgraded their Video Station package to version 1.1 beta on their Synology NAS*

DS video allows you to stream your Video Station library on your DiskStation from your Android device. DS video sorts your video contents by Movies, TV shows, Home videos as well as recorded programs to make browsing your library all the more convenient. DS video also displays the movie information retrieved online automatically. If you have plugged in a DTV dongle to your DiskStation, you will also be able to record TV programs, as well as view the TV program to manage the recording schedule remotely.

With DS video you can:
-Browse and play your video contents stored on your DiskStation
-Search for video files by keywords
-Add videos and movies to your collections (“Favourites, “Watchlist” or user-defined)
-Record TV programs if you have at least one DTV dongle plugged into your DiskStation
-View the Electronic Program Guide, as well as add or remove programs to the Recording Schedule
-Supports Live streaming of DTV channels (up to SD quality)
-Use the Android device as a remote to stream to Airplay devices
-Select available subtitles (.srt files, embedded on mkv files) and embedded audio tracks
-Supports encrypted login over HTTP without SSL
-Supports HTTPS connection (when playing videos, this is dependent on the device and player used)
-Supported on Video Station 1.1 Beta (and onwards)

Known limitations and issues:
