Every runner knows the importance of good shoes. Working out in old or worn out shoes can lead to injuries. RUNNING SHOE TRACKER is here to keep track of the distance you put on your running shoes and to let you know when it is time to replace them!
Create a record for each pair of your running shoes. Note the brand, model, purchase date. Indicate how many miles (or kilometers) you'd like to put on each pair and/or the length of time from purchase that you'd like to replace them.
Each time you run, open RUNNING SHOE TRACKER, simply select a shoe and indicate distance covered! RUNNING SHOE TRACKER logs this information and displays the following statistics:
* total distance
* time since purchase
* distance remaining
* time remaining
RUNNING SHOE TRACKER will alert you when you have reached your limit!

It is recommended that you replace your running shoes between 300-550 miles (500-900 km) depending on your running style, body weight, and the surface on which you run. Retiring shoes after 6 months is also the general rule of thumb, but this is often too long to wait for many runners. The best way to know if it's time to replace them is to examine your shoes at least once a week, and to pay attention to how you feel. Aches and pains in your muscles, joints and bones may indicate a need for new shoes!
